About Me

I'm an amateur geologist. I first stumbled upon some native artifacts in my backyard. Out of curiosity I dug a little further and what I found has fascinated me since my first discovery. Rock art, or Portable Rock Art (PRA) has been for the most part dismissed by archeologists, anthropologists, and all the other 'ologists' due to reasons I don't quite understand at this time (09/03/24)

PRA is a type of artifact, but it is referred to as 'Artfact'. The rocks I've found in central North Carolina depict animals, people, and events. Some of the artistry is quite brilliant. In fact, I'll be adding some of my best findings for you to view or purchase. I'd like this blog to be educational also as I continue to learn.
