About Us

I'm an amateur geologist. I first stumbled upon some native artifacts in my backyard. Out of curiosity I dug a little further and what I found has fascinated me since my first discovery. Rock art, or Portable Rock Art (PRA) has been for the most part dismissed by archeologists, anthropologists, and all the other 'ologists' due to reasons I don't quite understand at this time (09/03/24).

Pre-Historic Petroglyphs

Native and indigenous people around 10,000 years ago didn't have a written language. They communicated with the voice, but also through art. Their canvas was rocks. Many sizes, shapes, colors, and some of the art they created is amazing. The defining attributes of portable rock art include painting, drawings, sculptures, and engravings.

Bones or the Earth - Some tell pre-historic stories.

Some rocks are just rocks, but some rocks are sculpted to form varying objects. Some are drawn on or painted. Some people will not understand what to look for. They just can't see the artwork. If you can see it, you'll be enlightened and never view rocks the same. I'll try to explain within.
